Migration from WooCommerce to Magento 2 + Hyvä platform.
The brief
Moving to a bespoke WooCommerce solution 7 years ago was a big step but 7 years on, we were pushing the boundaries of the platform’s capabilities. The decision was made to migrate to a new bespoke Magento 2 solution adopting the Hyvä suite to enhance the Magento site’s power and scalability.
Our approach
With over 3000 products on the old website as well as some very bespoke functionality such as:
Decking and fencing calculators
API integration into Veeqo (inventory management)
Day delivery integration
in-depth checkout rules
we had a lot to consider…
Migrating all product content as well as fine-tuning the above functionality all on a development environment gave us the ability to test fully before going live.
